I am in love with little old towns, and antiques. So while I was driving around town, handling small errands before I make the 2 hour trip to my home town today... I saw the cutest little antique store. Well, I just knew that they would have something that I would need in my life.
Boy was I right...
Swoon
Ever since Christmas, when I received the cutest little picnic basket from my parents.. I was on a mission to find the perfect quilt to go with it. I'm so glad I stopped!! You just never know where you'll find that perfect item :) I hope everyone has a great weekend... I have to go get ready for a bridal shoot tomorrow!

Catherine | Senior
I met Catherine a week ago, and she has to have the most infectious smile... isnt it gorgeous?! She is beginning her freshman year at Louisiana Tech University as a cheerleader and is so excited to get going. Best wishes Catherine, I bet you will love it.

Hello there!
I'm so glad you've decided to stop by and read a little bit of what I've recently jumped into. With that being said, although I jumped right in... It was a decision that was years in the making.
I have always loved to be creative. If it was making up random dances in the bathroom when I was younger to making book marks out of older pages in other books, it seemed that I always needed a creative outlet. It even started to become a small issue when my boss would approach me at work saying "Nice doodles there, but we really need ....." Yea, lets just say my mind needed a little more freedom. This freedom came when I got my hands on my first camera, a Cannon, a little over 5 years ago.
To make a very long story short (I'm sure the long version can come another time), I had purchased a new Nikon camera and convinced myself that this was something I full-heartily needed to invest myself in. I had tossed the idea around for years and just knew it was time to take the plunge! I found a workshop in Louisiana and truly had the best teacher. She gave the best advice, gave me information about her personal experiences and helped lead me in the direction I really felt I belonged in. The amount of what I learned not just about a camera, but about myself over those few days were well worth that scary decision to follow my gut and my dream. I cannot wait to see where this dream takes me from here.
